Mock Trial Competition

We’ve been so grateful for this opportunity to compete, and we’ve learned a lot that we can use for next year!

I received Best Witness both nights (Tuesday and Wednesday) for the Defense for my portrayal of Tommie Fehler, an expert witness in Mechanical Engineering. For the last three years, I’ve gotten to compete as a witness in the competition, but this year I also got a chance to compete as an attorney! It’s been a great experience, and I can’t wait to do it again next year.

I competed Monday as an attorney for the plaintiff and yesterday as a witness for the defense at the TN bar association’s high school Mock Trial competition. My defense team will advance in the bracket and compete again tonight at the Memphis Courthouse. Wish us luck!
