How You Can Help
Help us fill our goal of ten buckets by:
- Collecting donation items.
- Donating money to buy donation items.
Collecting Donation Items
Check the list of accepted donation items (left) and buy or collect those items. Get in the holiday spirit and involve your family, friends, and community! Keep in mind that all donated items MUST be brand new and in season per hospital policy. If you have questions, or for instructions on sending us donation items, email LilyKDonaldson@gmail.com.
Donating Money
If you’d like to donate money, you can Venmo @Lily-Donaldson and write “Children’s National Donation”. If you’d like to donate another way, or have questions, you can email LilyKDonaldson@gmail.com.
How much should I donate?
Examples of donation item prices:
$1 = 1 sheet of stickers
$3 = 1 teether or small 0-24 months children’s toy
$5 = 2 decks of playing cards or 1 deck of UNO cards
$8 = 1 Barbie doll
$10 = 1 stuffed animal
$15-$20 = 1 Lego set
>$20 = LOTS more holiday cheer!
Anything helps! Even just a $1 donation could go towards brightening a child’s day!
What happens when I donate?
If you collected donation items, a list/picture of your items and your name(s) with your permission will be added to our Gratitude Gallery (above). If you donated money, Lily and her holiday helpers will buy an approved donation item, and your name(s) will be added to our Gratitude Gallery. Extra generous givers will be displayed at the top along with their rank of Gold (>$50 donated or the equivalent of $50 in donated items), Green (>$20), or Red (>$10).
