As you already know, I’m very involved with the Miss America Organization but you probably didn’t know that one of the exciting opportunities this organization offers is the chance to raise funds for local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Star Studio (which broadcasts from Minnesota children’s hospitals) provides entertainment for kids across Children’s Minnesota! I got to help host a Bingo show with Sarah for Star Studio.
Powell’s Bookstore in Portland, Oregon
I visited some friends in Portland and stopped by Powell’s bookstore.
Science Storytime at the New Effington Community Center
I read Goodnight Astronaut during a STEM storytime at the New Effington Community Center in South Dakota. I even met some future astronauts there, too!
Wilmington Riverfront in Delaware
I visited the Wilmington, Delaware’s Riverfront.
I visited Dearborn Heights, Michigan
We had a library storytime scheduled, but after the main library lost power (due to storms), I ended up donating the books and doing a meet and greet at the town’s other library and city hall.
