Digital Stagelighting Practice
This C# Unity game is an opportunity to play with stage lighting design. You can turn available lights on and off and change lights’ color filters and spot angles through the simplified CAD (Computer Aided Design) lighting plot. Then, you can see what your edits look like on a 3D stage. This project was submitted as a final for CSC 470 – Game Programming Fall 2019. The concept of this game could be expounded into a real WYSISYG tool for lighting designers if hooked up to a CAD program like VectorWorks or AutoCAD, but this rendition is just for fun! The best part of lighting design in this game is that the actors do not move so you do not have to deal with them.
