New York SunWorks Youth Conference
May 8, 2025NY Sunworks is on a mission to build state-of-the-art Hydroponic Classrooms, teach the science of sustainability and climate change, and transform learning in K-12 city schools. Their Youth Conference brought high school students from across New York City to hear from CEA speakers and participate in a career fair. We hosted a booth at the career fair where students got to test out a Chlorophyll Content Meter on a corn plant from RPI’s LESA plant lab, watch a color science demonstration answering the question “Why are Plants Green?”, check out Art Technically’s Astrobotany & CEA Resources, and learn about careers in CEA and technology.
