She’s Beauty and She’s Grace, She’s
Miss United States
I was crowned Miss United States on October 17th, 2022 in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. As Miss United States, I promoted STEM and arts education on a national scale and visited communities across the country. During my reign, I was a guest-writer for the U.S. Department of Education’s blog; I toured facilities at Kennedy Space Center and attended the NASA SpaceX Crew-7 launch; I visited children at over 35 schools, public libraries, science museums, and children’s hospitals; and I traveled over 85,000 miles across the USA, becoming the first Miss United States titleholder to visit all 50 states during her one-year reign.
STEM and Arts Education
I wrote a blog post for the U.S. Department of Education about STEM and Arts education:
“This month, as we’re thinking about gratitude, I’m reflecting on the tremendous impact that educators have had on my life. I would not be where I am today without the many teachers, counselors, librarians, and mentors that have lifted me up, and, now as an educator and mentor myself, I hope to pass that encouragement on to the next generation of students.” Read more on ed.gov.
